about

Nas-Ja is a Boss and releases his third EP on Street Ritual - Collective Overtone. A 4-track masterpiece full of heavy bass frequencies hailing higher than the fundamental frequency of sound, they create pyramids, it’s legend. High Osho whispers of innovative Universal sonic knowledge makes for a mind-expansive exploration of authentic hype; profound depth to be felt. Dripping bass, melodic yet grimey grooves, synth resonance, captivating drum patterning, and collective overtones makes for a cleansing effect of alignment. A poetic uprising through soundscape emerges from diverse fields of galactic visions and reflective rhythms - it’s a outer-space-jungle hybrid of enticing leads.

A true music-pioneer, this Colorado native found a strong sonic perspective through the mountains of Roaring Fork Valley, while musically evolving with instrumentation of the piano and violin since his childhood years. In 2007, he was introduced to the underground bass scene when he moved to California and immediately dove into the world of bass production, ultimately becoming a self-taught Ableton producer and conscious seeker. Being involved in the Burner scene over the years, he engages in creative collaborations with other musicians, aerialists, circus performers, painters, and fire dancers. Founder of CommUnity Pro-jeckt (a collective of producers, DJ’s, and family), he has involved himself in various projects such as event production, power-lighting fixtures, and performances at countless festivals. He aims to elevate and align through his momentum of upward flowing spirals of rhythmic sonic adventures meant to create emergences into new realms.
